Getting Social for Spring

Ellis Early Learning 3rd Annual Spring Social

On May 4th, Ellis Early Learning invited neighbors and friends to help usher in spring with the Ellis Spring Social event, held for the first time in the Ellis Music and Movement Studio. Ellis Trustees Winston Bodrick and Lauren Toth hosted and co-chaired the event.

This year’s event also featured a keynote speech by Tasha Jackson, Assistant Director of Ellis JP. Tasha shared her inspirational journey, describing how her career was shaped by her own teacher when she was still living in Jamaica. Her story emphasized the profound impact that educators can have on their students’ lives and how it has motivated her to contribute to the mission of Ellis Early Learning.

Sponsored by Needham Bank, The Geraghty Group at Morgan Stanley, Olivia’s Organics, and the Steven Cohen Team, the event featured an auction and a Wine Grab showcasing amazing wines donated by Ruby Wines. The beautiful decor in the room, which added to the festive and welcoming atmosphere, was generously donated by A Diamond Occasion. The food was from Café Sauvage, a French restaurant owned by Ellis’s parents, and from the South End Buttery.

With the support of over 75 guests, the evening gathering was a resounding success. This year, the event raised more than $20,000 for the Ellis Food Program, enabling Ellis to provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks critical to our children’s development. The event was a perfect blend of good company, delicious food, and a unique opportunity for neighbors to witness the impactful work of Ellis Early Learning.
